iPads ARE fun - kids know it and so do their teachers - but they are also powerful learning tools that are transforming our classrooms and even our culture. Spend a summer day learning more about this amazing personal learning device with ICE! Join us as past ICE President Nadine Norris repeats her well-received June iPad Workshop for a full day of learning just for ICE members. Nadine has spent this school year implementing one of the largest iPad roll outs in the state, supporting Palatine District 15 teachers in using over 1,400 iPads with students from grades K-8. She will share what she and her teachers have learned along the way, including getting started, student and teacher friendly management tips, and - of course - favorite apps that best support classroom learning and creativity. Whether you want to learn more about using your own shiny new iPad or are looking for tips for tapping into the learning power with iPads in your classroom, this is the workshop for you!
