What an exciting start to 2016 for Illinois Computing Educators. We hope many of you were able to attend the annual conference held at Pheasant Run the end of February. Kudos goes to this year’s Conference Committee for an outstanding job. The vast number of breakout sessions, poster sessions, and workshops was a marvelous opportunity for attendees to expand their technology skills/understanding. The close of the annual event saw the passing of the job of ICE Executive Director from our leader of 5 years Margaret Johnson to our new director Amber Heffner as well as voting in our new Executive Board. Now ICE chapters take on their spring activities and hope to see many educators attending their events.
